Katie is an artist and designer skilled in traditional and digital media.  Katie holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver and will complete a BFA in Illustrative Design from the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in 2024.

Katie has exhibited her work at the Arvada Center and 40West Arts District.  Her artwork was recently on display at the 60th Annual Student Exhibition at RMCAD.

​​Katie is the owner and creator of Eppie Peppercorn Designs LLC.  She sells handmade dolls that combine her skills in illustration, digital art, toy design, and sewing.
In addition to being an artist, Katie is a former preschool teacher and children's librarian.  She designed curriculum for children's library programs that were used at multiple libraries in El Paso County, CO. Her curriculum design experience is backed by graduate coursework completed in Educational Psychology & Human Development at UC Denver. She also has a strong analytical and technical background from three years of education at the Colorado School of Mines, where she was studying physics.

​In her free time, Katie combines her technical skills in CAD with her love of toys by making 3D-printed dollhouse miniatures.
